What you'll do
- Design and build backend services for data-heavy SaaS products.
- Develop APIs, data pipelines, and internal tools that support AI-assisted analysis and matching workflows.
- Work with structured and unstructured data from property, market, and investment domains.
- Improve reliability, observability, testing, and deployment practices for production systems.
- Translate product and research requirements into maintainable technical architecture.
What we're looking for
- Strong backend engineering experience with Python, TypeScript, or similar server-side technologies.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, queues, workers, and integrations.
- Practical understanding of AI-assisted products, retrieval workflows, ML pipelines, or data engineering.
- Comfortable working in a small product-led team with high ownership.
- Strong judgement around security, privacy, testing, and long-term maintainability.
